Set in the world of Forcelia, Bellecana is a student at the Academy of Sages in Lomar, Alecrast. She frequently hangs out with Clespo, the elves Shiara and Mallough, and the grassrunner Book, but Bellecana is reluctant to call them their friends. In four short stories Bellecana learns more about herself and the worth of friendships.
