Lin Jian, whose body is part mechanical, and the mysterious youth Bu Xizhan, meet on a snowy night in a small mountain village. After witnessing the cruel oppression of the villagers and the destruction of the village, the two embark together on a journey to find the culprit. However, the two of them don' get along very well at all. One of them is a straightforward and heroic champion of justice, while the other is a mysterious and secretive schemer who tries to avoid fighting as much as possible.
